OUR PROJECTS
Nutrition
According to UNICEF Mozambique has extremely high levels of chronic malnutrition (43% of the population) that affect almost one in two children under 5 years of age.
In addition to causing child death and harming the child's health, chronic malnutrition directly affects school development. This may be a result of low family income and may perpetuate the cycle of intergenerational deprivation.
Our objective as YAH Hope is to contribute to reducing this rate with a nutrition program for children and guidance for families.

Training
This is one of our most important pillars.
We believe in the power of influence and transformation when an individual acts within their own culture with the aim of responding to local needs. To this end, in the training project, we will identify potential leaders who can build and lead our local work.

Teaching
We believe in the importance of quality education for everyone. Teaching is capable of transforming and empowering people to make a difference in society.
Therefore, YAH Hope is committed to collaborating in the area of education so that children, adolescents and young people develop and impact the environment in which they are located.

Infrastructure
Mozambique is lacking in basic health elements, such as access to water, electricity and basic sanitation.
According to WaterAid, 46% of the population do not have access to water and 65% of the population do not have access to improved sanitation. Considering these difficulties, YAH Hope seeks to help with the construction of wells, installation of solar panels and other necessary actions to reduce these rates.
